“MASSIVE GRAVITY AND OBSERVATIONS”
I’ll discuss how to modify Einstein’s equation so that gravitational perturbations satisfy wave equations with mass terms (sometimes called “finite range gravity”). This problem was studied already by Fierz and Pauli in the 1930s but progress was made in the last few years. Observations greatly constrain these theories, and I will discuss a few examples of this.
