Steven Elliott, a fellow at Los Alamos National Laboratory in New Mexico, recently spoke with South Dakota Public Broadcasting regarding the Majorana experiment. The experiment is a search for neutrinoless double-beta decay of germanium-76, and involves over 100 collaborators from 16 institutions in 4 countries — including UNC faculty.
