David Hill’s lab was part of a paper featured in last month’s Science Translational Medicine that resulted from a 10 year collaborator between UNC and the University of Western Australia and their AREST CF group that worked to define the onset of the pathogenesis of cystic fibrosis airway disease in a pre-school age cohort group, ie, kids that are so young they don’t present as sick but already have underlying changes to their airways.
