Astronomy on Tap

June 29 @ 8:30 pm - 9:30 pm

Once again, our Astronomy on Tap team is hosting a public stargazing event at James Creek Cider House (our previous one was sadly canceled). The event will take place on Saturday, June 29th from 8:30pm-9:30pm.

This event has been a fan favorite, and people are especially appreciative of the opportunity to talk to real astronomers/astrophysicists about space! This is a very casual setting in which the public is able to look through some telescopes and have one-on-one conversations with scientists who do real research. We would love your help in making this happen! You don’t need to know anything about stargazing. Simply show up, enjoy some cider, and chat with people about your research and/or cool astronomy stuff you know! Your research doesn’t even have to be directly related to astronomy.

If you would like to join us for this upcoming event, please fill out this google form: Any and all help is greatly appreciated! Everyone from faculty to undergrads are welcome.

We will be keeping an eye on the forecast as the event gets closer.
