Career Workshop #1: What do physicists do, and what should I do?

October 2 @ 4:30 pm - 6:00 pm

In this career exploration workshop, aimed at students at all levels as well as postdocs, you will learn about career pathways available to people with physics degrees (bachelor’s, master’s, and PhD); knowledge and skills used in such careers, and typical salaries.  You will begin foundational activities that will prepare you to look for a job when the time comes (it is never too early to start these!), including identifying your goals, interests, strengths, and skills.  At the end you will be poised to begin your exploration of possible careers that would be appropriate for you.  This exploration will be the focus of the second workshop.  To sign up for this workshop, fill out Google form #1.
