Erik Forseth (PhD, ‘16) is a Quantitative Research Analyst at Graham Capital Management (GCM), a hedge fund located in Rowayton, CT. His presentation will give a broad overview of systematic trading at GCM, as well as a “day in the life” of an analyst working on developing and improving quantitative trading strategies. The talk will also include discussion of the methods and subjects that may be useful to students aspiring to work in quant finance, and some advice for navigating the job hunt.
