The Novel Corona Virus, or Covid-19, has affected everyone’s lives across the country and globe over the last few months. UNC is doing its part to help combat the virus through many avenues of research at our Medical School. Our very own Instrument Shop is aiding this effort. Currently they are machining parts used in cell culture research. Those parts are for the Department of Pharmacoengineering and Molecular Pharmaceutics (DPMP), which focuses presently on the research and education in drug delivery options specifically related to Covid-19. We’re all excited to play even a small role in the fight against this pandemic.
