We are sharing the recording of the “How the System Works” info session held last month by the The Physics & Astronomy Diversity Committee.

This info session — presented by undergrad + grad students and P&A faculty — can be useful for new or undecided majors as well as minors and anyone else who might want to go beyond introductory physics and astronomy. We touched on topics like demystifying STEM/Physics, why undergraduate research is valuable and how to get involved, what opportunities are available in the P&A Department, and why/how to create a network of faculty mentors. For more information, please contact Mugdha Polimera at mugpol@live.unc.edu on behalf of the P&A Diversity Committee.
