Background
Dr. Mann obtained his Ph.D. at the University of Hawaii in 2013. He was a Harlan J. Smith postdoctoral fellow at the University of Texas at Austin from 2013-2015, after which he was a Hubble fellow at the University of Texas at Austin from 2015-2017 and Columbia University from 2017-2018. He joined the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Physics & Astronomy Department in 2018.
