UNC-CH Professor Laura Mersini-Houghton and Professor Greg Cook from Wake Forest University were interviewed for the Feb. 17 edition of WUNC’s “The State of Things.” In the interview, they talk about the recent Laser Interferometer Gravitational-Wave Observatory (LIGO) detection of gravitational waves, a finding which proves a key component of Einstein’s 1915 Theory of Relativity. The interview can be heard in its entirety on WUNC’s website.
