The Research Corporation for Science Advancement (RCSA) recently announced that six Scialog team awards would be dispersed between thirteen research fellows. The Scialog Time Domain Astrophysics conference in October 2015 included forty-nine Scialog fellows, considered top early career researchers in astrophysics, and ten veteran researchers. Scialog’s purpose is to encourage research, dialogue, and collaboration on critical scientific issues. This conference led to twenty-nine team research proposals, six of which ended in Scialog awards totaling $560,000. UNC Physics and Astronomy professor Nick Law and his Evryscope research are part of two of the award-winning proposals. Read more about the Scialog awards in the RCSA news announcement.
