Glenwood Elementary School STEAM Night

March 27 @ 5:00 pm - 6:30 pm

Glenwood Elementary School is hosting a STEAM2 Night (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math, Mandarin) on Wednesday, March 27, from 5:00-6:30pm.

The goal of the evening is to showcase exciting experiences in science, technology, engineering, art (as it relates to these fields), math or Mandarin by engaging our children in student-friendly activities.  We also aim to create opportunities for students to ask questions and engage with experts in the field through interactive booths or demonstrations.  Our hope is to inspire students now and into the future.

Throughout the evening, families choose their activities.  They can enjoy engaging, hands-on booths, or they can choose to participate in 20 minute activity sessions. Hands-on stations are typically in open areas, unless a classroom is requested. 20 minute sessions are held in classrooms.  There will be three sessions (5:00-5:20pm; 5:30-5:50pm; 6:00-6:20pm).
We anticipate that approximately 500+ Kindergarten-5th grade students, siblings, and parents will join us for this special evening. Presenters are welcome to bring promotional materials to distribute during this event.
We are currently looking for physics student volunteers for the event on Wednesday, March 27th from 5:00-6:30
